Over the last twenty years I have held many software development roles including developer, architect, DBA, Scrum Master, Test Manager, Project Manager and Programme Manager.
I have worked at small start up companies; public sector organisations (Ordnance Survey, Post Office and Inland Revenue) and private sector business (Cap Gemini, Swiss Re, BNP Paribas and EDF Energy) across financial services, banking, insurance, re-insurance, professional services, energy and trading.
I have used many frameworks including SCRUM, PRINCE2, MSP, MOR and ITIL with considerable experience of introducing best practice approaches.
I have a particular interest in looking at how Scrum works in very large enterprises that have heavyweight waterfall based approaches to delivery.
I like to listen to what is needed and pick and choose the tool most suitable.
