Robert Stumberger is an experienced project manager and software developer. He has previously worked at Microsoft Corporation (Redmond, WA), as a program manager for linguistic technology used in a variety of Microsoft products, including Windows and Office. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Stumberger was Vice President for Software Engineering at Language Systems, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA), developing systems in information extraction and voice translation, as part of government-contracted research; and earlier at Logicon, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA) as a Senior Computer Scientist and at Silogic, Inc. (Los Angeles, CA) as a Computer Scientist, in positions focused on development of technology for natural language understanding.
Recently, Mr. Stumberger has worked with several nonprofit groups, helping them adopt Content Management Systems to enhance their websites for greater community involvement, to improve capabilities and access for organization members and supporters.
Mr. Stumberger has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering from Brown University.
