Biography

Jude has over 20 years of ICT experience performing various roles in Software Development, IT Support, Solutions and Product Development, Partner, Alliance & Account Management, Consulting, Training, Systems & Business Analysis and Project Management.

 

Jude has worked in the Banking, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Application Support and Development, Vendor, Government and consulting industries.  His private sector experience in Asia, New Zealand, Australia and the US, had given him the skills and knowledge to adapt and manage project teams from different regions and cultures.

 

Jude had previously managed the Singapore operations of Fatwire Asia Pacific, a US-based company.  He managed the technical team, professional services, clients and partners.  He was appointed General Manager before leaving to setup his own consulting company as a PMP [1]Coach.  His people-oriented disposition and strategies to deliver expected outcomes have facilitated his success in managing many successful projects.

 

Jude has led a range of successful multi-disciplinary teams in banking, Web Content Management (WCM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), SharePoint, JAVA, web-based internet projects and custom application and product development projects.  He excels at managing customer, partner and vendor relationships, with an excellent track record in managing successful projects within scope, time and budget.  Some examples of these are the Content Management and Personalisation System (CMPS) Project for Telekom Malaysia, ENet Corporate Internet Banking Project at the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, the PAMS/Objective Upgrade Project for IP Australia, the IDMS/Objective Upgrade Project for ACT Government, a project to implement Microsoft SharePoint Portal for the Railway Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) in Canberra, a project to develop a prototype for Centrelink Disability and Support Pension (DSP) reforms using the SCRUM development method and JAVA technology, and most recently managed the implementation of Pension Reforms (Harmer) at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) in Canberra.

 

Jude is a current member of the Gateway Multi-Use List (MUL) of the Department of Finance and Deregulation.  Jude had the privilege of contributing and reviewing the PMI OPM3 2nd Edition Standard and the Standard for Program Management, 2nd Edition, and is listed in both publications as a reviewer.

 

Jude is certified in the PRINCE2 (Foundation) project management methodology and is also a PMP.  He has knowledge in PMBOK[1], COBIT[2], COBIT to Prince2 mapping, project management maturity models such as OPM3[3], P2M2 [4]and P3M3[5] and ITIL.  He has experience in Agile software development using SCRUM and is a certified SCRUM Master.

 

Jude has experience in providing project and governance health checks using the above methodologies and models.  He has demonstrated knowledge and experience in PMO [6]and the establishment of a PMO.

 

He is highly competent with project scheduling using MS Project 2007 and in earlier versions and is certified in MS Project 2007 – Managing Projects.

 

Jude has demonstrated skills in high quality documentation and the preparation of project artifacts which includes good verbal and presentation skills.

 

Jude has a Masters in Software Engineering from Andrews University (USA), which included education in project management principles.
