Biography

Nick Pass

Joining the Australian Government at the Department of Defence in 2004, I worked as a Developer/Systems Integrator within a self-sufficient team for 2 years before moving to Ops Support in 2006. In 2009 our organisation merged the software Ops Support teams into our development branch in order to provide cradle-to-grave support for systems.

Working alongside scrum teams whilst in Ops Support, and then within a scrum team from July 2009, I gained my CSM certification in August 2010 and I took up the role of a scrum master, promoting the use of Agile methodologies within the organisation. In January 2013 I was selected to lead the initiative to develop and integrate a testing framework and formalised testing methodologies into our development lifecycle.
