Biography

Maximiliano (Max) Rutsch: I guide organizations through change led by market forces, corporate initiatives, or procedural needs. As a Certified Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master focusing in Financial Services end-user applications, change management, online presence, and making business intelligence work, my achievements have been in launching systems, information, processes, and people into focused cycles of change to strengthen and progressively improve company efficiency and effectiveness.

With 15 years of progressive experience focusing on project and program delivery with implementations in the US, Europe, and Latin America, Mr. Rutsch has successfully delivered results amidst varying challenges in working across continents and cultures and excels in such diverse environments. Project / Program Management, in a leading US Retirement Services Provider Employer: Great West Retirement Services. June 30, 2009 – Current Max is charged with guiding and controlling projects from inception through implementation. This work focuses on web/e-initiatives including the wholesale redesign of customer website and over 70 co-branded sites and special features, operational changes, enhancing functionality of current systems, and decision support. Due to previous experience, Max also assists in the establishment of Project Management Office processes and their effective integration across the larger Operations organization. Through this work Mr. Rutsch earned the “President’s Award” and was promoted while in this role. Responsibilities span the project lifecycle from business case creation, through development, testing, training, rollout and evaluation.

Promoted to this position, experience allowed Max to quickly introduce new processes improving both the precision and accuracy of figures produced by the team he managed, as well as quickly offering ad-hoc special focus information to support business units.

August 8, 2001 – June 24, 2002 In the PMO he co-created, Max managed multiple projects extending the Trip Network website and Strategic Partner / Co-branded websites functionality including use of Agile / Scrum methodologies. As lead Project Manager of an endeavor comprised of 4 distinct workgroups to 15 personnel, his work integrated 9 hotel and auto rental websites while advancing functionality of the host site. Other projects ranged from enhancements to site-wide transformations requiring control from the concept stage, through to releasing into production. Typically, Max managed development, testing, and other teams and oversaw Business Analysts. He additionally managed Trip Network’s defect remediation strategy and execution for a period to ensure site stability and revenue generation was not compromised.
