One day, my parents offered me the opportunity to buy a computer. What I really wanted was a motorbike, but there wasn’t money for both, so I chose the computer. I ended up assembling computers for some of my high school teachers and skipping classes in high school to code a basic chat in Visual Basic with a friend. And finally I was able to pay for my secondhand motorbike!
I started working in IT on 2001 while studying. I worked as freelance till 2008 for different public and private companies like Generalitat de Catalunya, the Arzobispado de Barcelona, m1441 arquitectura, Groupfilms and Prisma Archivo Fotográfico.
In 2008, on the last two years of my Telecomunications Engineering on the Pompeu Fabra University, I started working as the first developer on a new start up, Beabloo. Now I am the Head of development and Scrum Master here. Beabloo has more than 300 clients in Spain and has major international projects in the UK, Germany, the Middle East, Turkey and the United States.
As head of development I do project management and new features design. I have implemented Agile methodologies on my department, and currently deal with the day to day of it managing a team of web designers and developers. We use a Continuous Integration approach with tools like Jira, Jenkins and Sonar.
