Liz Frost has over 12 years experience in the IT industry initially working in the Public Health Sector where she gained exposure to diverse technologies in local area networks and systems support. Career progression continued in the private sector – predominantly in ISP and Telco arena, designing and implementing dedicated hosting solutions. Has been accountable for many multi-million pound projects, from initial business case submissions through to business as usual operations. Has built a Managed Services Group from scratch with independent P&L for a large UK Telco following merger. Various roles have required excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly at senior board level within both client and supplier environments.
A strong track record in understanding and aligning business processes to systems and applications design in dynamic environments, and in managing difficult and sensitive situations. Recent roles in the private sector have been developing teams and processes/procedures to industry standards (ITIL) to support the launch of end to end services across application and infrastructure services. Recent activities have focused on generating new business revenues from new and existing client accounts, and in developing core infrastructure and services to build out new virtualised and dedicated platforms for web, media and broadcast and healthcare applications.
