Developed corporate property management software in an agile software development environment. Team members were rotated to different sprint teams to work on projects as required. I worked on two large projects, for the Crown Enterprise ONTRACK and Community Housing in Australia. The software is designed for organisations that either predominantly lease property, or have a mixture of owned and leased property. Application features include an accounting system (developed in house), property management modules, project management modules and a custom reporting tool. As part of the technical analyst role I spent 3 months with the customer support team providing technical analysis as required on support issues. The position also included working with the .Net team developing C# and SQL server reporting services. Development technologies: Omnis 7, C#, VB.Net, T-SQL SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services.
Reason for Leaving: The position was made redundant.
CO3 Technologies, Analyst Developer
February 2008 - October 2008, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Developed software aimed at the service industry. I was primarily involved with two applications. The first being the MRS Machine Rental and Service system, designed to give users control over contracts, customer calls, spares and related transactions and information. The system provides integration into Pastel Accounting, allowing debtors, creditors and general ledger to be updated from MRS. Key features include capturing rental and service contracts, asset control, knowing whether machines are in the user's warehouse or on contract. The software was designed for multi company and multi user support. The second application, SyMat, is a very simple sales order processing system that manages all the MRS data thereby streamlining business processes and increasing efficiencies. The software presents the user with a simple ordering matrix and ensures that all customer and supplier order are processed accurately and easily into Pastel Accounting. Development technologies: C#, VB.Net, VB6, SQL Server, Crystal Reporting, Pastel, Pervasive.
Reason for Leaving: Immigrated to New Zealand.
