Karl-Heinz Wichert has been an IT professional for more than 13 years. He worked as a software architect and project manager in JEE-projects, with team sizes up to 85 people. He always kept in touch with programming and upcoming technologies in the JEE domain.
During a year in the research department of my former company, where he worked on software quality and how to control and measure it, he discoverd Scrum, because it gives the responsibilty for software quality to the team. There is no better way to control it. Besides, he loves the idea of self organized teams and saw it working in many projects - and also the opposite - externally controlled teams which did not work.
He lives in munich, Germany together with his wife and children.
