Joanna Zweig, born in Paterson, New Jersey, USA, and grew up near New York City. She attended University of Pittsburgh where she majored in Math and Music, holds an M A from San Francisco, CA and a PhD in Learning and Change in Groups from CIIS in San Francisco, CA. She is passionate about Group Coherence, an energetic shift in a group when its emergence takes place. She researched this topic for her dissertation. Her articles with Cesar Idrovo can be found by searching for Group Coherence in agilejournal.com. She and Cesar presented a workshop on Group Coherence at Agile 2009. She serves on the coordinating committee of Bay APLN and Agile Open Northern CA. She has started to work with Scrum teams and has a long history of software development with teams in large companies.
