PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

August 2007–Present:Telefónica Soluciones (www.telefonica.es/grandesempresasBusiness development manager / Senior consultant for Security Services and Solutions. Main representative of the Security business area for customers in Catalonia region. Role implies focus on sales with direct and active involvement in sales opportunities to define the customer solution and economical proposal and address objections. Customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction and detection of new opportunities, interfacing with providers and technical groups to address requirements and issues during deployment and operation are part of the role too. Technologies: network security, antifraud, .secure identification, security audits and compliance. Communication with senior management. Customers in private and public sector. Staffing of a new group in Barcelona.

January 2006 – July 2007: Telefónica R+D (www.tid.es) 

Project Manager for Tele-surveillance and office automation platform, for La Caixa (banking sector). Solution deployment to 3000 offices. Team of 8 people. Project management, customer relationship, budget administration, process definition, hiring, collaboration on contract and offer preparation.

Project Manager for Office automation for La Caixa (banking sector). Requirements definition, investigation, prototyping, design and development of the solution; light and temperature control.

April 2003 – January 2006: Hewlett-Packard (www.hp.comTechnical Lead/Project Manager for the development of the HP Forms Automation Solution Server Software: SDK and Service Controller based on Digital Pen and Paper technology. Document management, processing and capture technology. Managing a local team of 3 engineers and an offshore group of up to 15 engineers. Main interface with marketing and business development group in the organization. Collaboration with university groups and HP Labs for several research projects. Member of the inkML W3C working group. Four Patent Applications in document management, handwriting recognition, collaboration workflow and capture devices.
