SRA International, Scrum Master
February 2011 - Present, Arlington, VA, United States
I have been with SRA since May 2010, in February 2011 I joined the ENERGY STAR team as Scrum Master for the Qualified Products Exchange (QPX) XML Transaction system (www.energystar.gov/qpx) and assisted in putting a software development team together in an effort to build a new enterprise data integration system leveraging SOAP-based web-services to automate the reception of certified/labeled products data from 3rd-party organizations across the globe. On this effort we have also integrated massive backend data warehousing changes that created a leaner and sustainable data management and reporting processes.
SRA International, Analyst
May 2010 - February 2011, Arlington, VA, United States
I began my career at SRA in May 2010 after 4 years of college at Penn State and 4 years in the Active Duty Army as a Signal Support Systems Specialist. I interned initially on multiple different projects, getting to experience different areas of the company over the 2010 summer. I was given the opportunity to manage my own project, which was a Visitor Management System integration project for one of SRA's client sites. I also worked with market research teams, cyber security analysis, and contract procurement. At the end of the summer SRA kept me on part-time and allowed me to finish up my degree in State College.
