Biography

Jeff Howey: I a problem-solver with over 20 years of experience in full-lifecycle solution delivery of business and technical projects.  As an Agile Coach and practitioner for the last 10 years, I have led scores of teams through Agile Transformation Initiatives and trained thousands of students in Scrum, Kanban and related disciplines, including advanced topics in Product Management and Enterprise Agile Program Management, interpersonal skills, and the use of tools in support of Agile planning, monitoring and controlling.  In my personal time, I also deliver public training in Agile, Project Management and Business Analysis skills as well as motivational speaking and personal workshops focused on Leadership, Communications, Time-Management and developing Professional Growth plans. As a practicing Project Manager and Business Analyst, often in leadership roles, I bring best-practices and learned competence to your team to enable business transformation, effective leadership, integration of people and technology systems, and the ability to deliver value more effectively. I consider myself a thought leader, and continue to learn every day, in understanding people, adapting best-practices and improving processes to meet the demands of the situation at hand.  My experience and integrity, coupled with my commitment to helping others reach their goals, make me an exceptional value to members of my team and my future employer. I hold a BS from the University of Colorado in Business Administration and am a Certified Scrum Professional. I treasure my ability to motivate, encourage, coach and lead teams effectively, assess situations quickly and honestly, define a plan that is in the best interest of the business and balance the need to value and empower every person I encounter to “raise the bar,” contribute their best work and make a difference, every day.
