Biography

James Brown and his team were awarded the 2009 PMO of the Year!

James has been responsible for overall development and implementation of project/program management processes, methodologies, tools and training for program/project leadership and support personnel. These programs and projects cover new product development, support, operations and sustainment of many products and services which are built and maintained across several campuses located in around the globe.

James has over 20 years of project and program management experience with large and mid-size corporations such as Parker Hannifin, Rockwell Automation, Lockheed Martin, Intel, Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia, Lucent, Nortel and Mentor Graphics. He was a principle partner in a UK-based startup which is now a publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange.

James has worked on projects and programs of various sizes ranging from $50K to over $3 billion. He has successfully built four PMOs from scratch and provided improvements in many more either as a manager or consultant. His projects have been in support of many different fields such as government services, military/defense, mobile technology, industrial automation, aerospace and power conditioning.

James holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, an Advanced Masters Certificate in Project Management and Masters Certificate in Program Management from George Washington University. James holds multiple PMI certifications - PMP, PgMP, PMI-SP, OPM3, is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Certified Scrum Practitioner.
