Ignacio Castro holds an Industrial Engineering and a Computer Science degrees. He recently completed a high selective MBA program for mid-career executives at MIT Sloan School of Management. He is also certified as PMP by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has 13 years of professional experience in IT consulting, leading nearshore software development teams and delivering projects to large global clients. During his career, he has work for global organizations like Chiquita Brands, PanAmerican Health Organization, Intel Corporation, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and World Vision International. He has extensive experience in project management, software quality assurance, agile and traditional software development methodologies, and always have played leadership and key management positions in the organization. He also has supported sales executives and have managed the operational relationship with the customer, being the liaison between the customer representatives and the development team.
