I am a Programmer and Website Developer with a background in Manufacturing.
I began work as a Co-op student developing precision lab balances, a small electro-mechanical system. I got more involved with manufacturing at a large rubber company that was an automotive supplier. This eventually led to working mostly on the factory floor in the Detroit area installing and troubleshooting assembly lines and test stands. The demanding and multi-disciplinary nature of this work led to working with smaller, emerging technology companies. There are many similarities between Agile and Scrum methods and my experiences in manufacturing or working for small startup/emerging technology companies.
