German Attanasio Ruiz works as a software engineer for the SilverGate team based in Argentina. He counts with more than 5 years of experience developing world class software, focusing on software design, high-level architecture and web development.
He currently works in close relationship with the Service Innovation Lab of the Almaden Research Center in which he is leading the UI development. He also takes part of different research projects, specially in the areas of HCI and Mobile technologies.
Before joining IBM, Germán worked as a teaching assistant at UNICEN (Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires) in subjects such as OO, Logic programming and software methodology for two years. He was also a research assistant of the ISISTAN laboratory, where he gained knowledge in the areas of search engines, e-learning, web agents and natural language processing.
When he was studying he received some scholarships and awards like, a Training fellowship awarded by CIC (Research commission from Buenos Aires), PNBU Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Education and PNBTICS Scholarship for information technologies students.
