Biography

Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, and Masters degree in Information Science and Knowledge Management at the Open University of Catalonia, where I teach at the Multimedia Studies degree. I'm a member of Platoniq, the founding team of Goteo, a collective funding platform for common projects. Apart from campaigns coordination, I develop there also methodologies of co-creation and practical workshops, as well as assisting the design and development team with agile processes. Actually collaborating at the eCreative European project in areas of project development and participation. I am also the Deputy Director of the Observatory for CyberSociety, where I have directed projects such as the IV Congress of CyberSociety, and board member of the Spanish chapter of the Open Knowledge Foundation.

Previsously I have worked as product manager in the area of City and Collaboration in Citilab-Cornellà, one of the pioneering Spanish LivingLabs, and as Online Content Coordinator of the Infonomía network, and I have also implemented e-Learning and open education projects for various institutions. I also collaborated with a grant form the Mozilla Foundation in the area of open education, with the testing and implementation of tools for kids in the Webmaker project, and was responsible for the online campus information department of the Open University of Catalonia.

Community management and campaigns coordination at Goteo.org, a social network for crowdfunding and distributed collaboration (services, infrastructures, microtasks and other resources) for encouraging the independent development of creative and innovative initiatives that contribute to the common good, free knowledge, and open code. Also methodology designer and facilitator of participative workshops for co-creation and crowdfunding processes.

CitiLab, Projects Coordination

At this pioneering and social-centred LivingLab I coordinated the production of open educational resources for the official accreditation of competences on information and communication technologies (ACTIC). I have also been the technical manager of the Innovation and the City Area, carrying out development meetings and the first edition of the Conference of Knowledge Centers. Also coordinated workshops on the use of Wikipedia and virtual worlds, provided support to the Communications Department and organised barcamps and open meetings of different kinds.

Observatory for CyberSociety, Technical Coordinator

Previously to be the Deputy Director of the Observatorio para la CiberSociedad, I was in charge of coordinating its international network of researchers and academic experts about the Informational Society, also participated in research projects and directed projects such as the IV Congress of Cybersociety, which had more than 4.000 international participants.
