Biography

Edward Newton - After graduating from Libery High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1980, I joined the United States Army.  I left the Army in 1993 to become an Independent Verification and Validation specialist with a company called Intermetrics at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona.  In 1996 I received my Bachelors Degree of Science in Computer Science and joined a company called Illex Systems, Inc. (also at Ft. Huachuca) as a software developer.  In 1998, I found my current employer--Vaisala, Inc.--as a software developer.  After 10 years as a developer I was offered the position of Software Development Manager.  Our company began moving toward Agile deveopment using Scrum in the Summer of 2009.
