Don Potratz

I am a seasoned product management and product marketing professional with extensive experience researching client needs and leading teams of IT, Sales, and Marketing in highly matrixed environments to develop and implement SaaS-based solutions for the B2B community.

A skilled and insightful leader, my keen ability to identify and exploit staff talents results in projects being delivered on time and within budget.

I am an intuitive and analytical thinker with the patience and determination to recognize important long-term product market trends, and then build successful strategies in response to those trends. In addition, my years of professional accounting experience offers a unique insight for understanding the financial component of bringing products to market.

Developed the strategic direction for the accountant sales channel, and then led the sales campaigns and promotions in support of that strategy. Redesigned the client-facing website achieving in a significant improvement in content and navigation resulting in doubling client and prospect visits. Spearheaded a client advisory program in major U.S. metropolitan areas that provided critical input to the strategic direction for both the sales and service organizations. Developed new, more creative promotional campaigns and collateral materials that resulted in greater influence with both the sales organization and the clients they served.
