I am the ScrumMaster of a larger Software Development Team and a smaller Acceptance Test Developer Team. I am coaching the Teams through the way of agile development to improve our daily work and increase the quality of working and the product. I am also involved in design & architectural questions and i am the deputy of our Product Owner.
While the Development team is working with Scrum, the ATD team uses ScrumBan for their development process. Through more efficient meetings and development behavior, the productivity increased by more than 20%. The quality of our code increased through more pair-programming, TDD and Code Reviews. We also introduced the user story template from Mike Cohn for a better understanding of the stories we have to implement. The teams are more motivated and much more productive than before.
The project is the realization of an automated workflow of large analysis devices. The Instrument uses modern molecular biology techniques to detect diseases.
