Diane Brent is a Program Manager responsible for the development and delivery of transformation related education aimed at enabling process and product efficiencies and innovation to drive sustainable business growth. She has expanded the suite of educational offerings, developed new course content, has taught over 300 hours of agile and collaborative leadership classes and serves as an agile mentor for several project teams.
Diane joined IBM in July 1985, after working as a programmer at SuperSoft Inc. and W.D. Scott & Associates, both in Illinois. Her earliest IBM assignment was in Data Systems Assurance, working with 3rd party CAD/CAM offerings. She took her first management position in the early 90s in the Geographic Information Systems group, followed by assignments in AIX ESA, Power Parallel and the Linux Technology Center.
She has held a variety of positions through her career at IBM including management, project management, relationship management, PDT Leader and Program Manager.
Diane received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Pace University in New York. She is a Certified Executive Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master, Trained Facilitator, Project Management Professional, and Trained Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
