As Scrum Master for the Graduate Student Technology team, I coached and guided a multi-layered program of 8 agile work streams, delivering student facing and faculty enabling technology related to delivering the graduate school preparatory products for Kaplan. I was the Scrum Master for this team since its inception in July 2011.
Simultaneously, I worked to evangelize Agile techniques throughout the organization, and organized (or "stood up") a total of 9 different agile work teams, coaching both technical and non-technical teams in the use of Agile techniques to improve their outcomes.
Previously, I also served as Scrum Master for the Pre-Enrollment Student Services technology team and the Compliance technology team. In both cases I worked to organize ("stand up") and coach new teams in the adoption of scrum.
Before Kaplan's transformation to an Agile/Scrum based culture, I worked as Senior Project Manager within our PMO, delivering a variety of projects using traditional project management techniques.
