Since October, 2012 I have been working with a small team in San Diego and a large team in Chennai to build and support products in our Enterprise Governance Regulatory and Compliance division. It's a fast-paced and agile team of entrepreneurial engineers using Scrum and Rally. In May, 2013, I received a PMI-ACP certification to complement my PMP certification.
Prior to my most current position with FIS, I lead a team for eighteen months building fraud and risk case management software for the Risk, Fraud & Compliance division of FIS. Working collaboratively with a co-located and cross functional development team and a broader shared services team, we were able to rapidly deliver ten new products and a version upgrade with excellent quality.
Prior to that I lead a global QA team for EFD | eFunds. Prior to the acquisition of EFD | eFunds by FIS, I was a Program Manager for the enterprise implementation of Scrum working for the VP of Global Development. I was extremely fortunate to work with an outstanding global team and exceptional consulting partners for 2 years designing and assisting the company with this major change management initiative. Previous positions I have held over the past 20 years include a variety of development, project management and management positions in various companies utilizing various disciplines and methodologies. The past 10 years I have been working to increase offshore delivery capabilities.
In my spare time I work with Special Olympics as a coach and travel.
