Chris Li is an energetic and passionate Certified Scrum Trainer® whose recent focus has been on designing and delivering interactive and immersive learning experiences for professionals looking to expand their Agile mindset. He was the first trainer in North America certified by Scrum Alliance to teach both the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) and Certified Scrum Professional – ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) courses.
Originally a Microsoft developer and database administrator, his close work with the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security give him a unique perspective into organizational change and technical delivery. He founded the Agile Institute at Agilex (now Accenture Federal), introducing agility and demonstrating its effectiveness to clients in these challenging sectors.
In addition to working with teams and enterprises throughout the United States in improving their work through Scrum adoption, Chris frequently speaks at major agile conferences and supports initiatives of the world’s major agile organizations. He enjoys the long-lasting impact of Professional Coaching relationships, and maintains a PCC credential from ICF in addition to his HCC from the Hudson Institute of Coaching.
Throughout his professional career, Chris has been an entrepreneur and an innovator. He founded the Agile Institute while at Agilex, an organization focused on providing Agile-focused training to employees and customers. He also developed Agile training and implementation strategies for various programs, and founded his own Agile consulting firm, SparkPlug Agility. More recently, he launched the Trainer Immersion Program, a one-of-a-kind offering dedicated to building he next generation of agile instructors.
