Biography

My name is Craig Lacy. I have over fourteen years of experience in the technology industry as a project manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, business analyst and test engineer. As an agile coach I have led teams in Agile/Scrum software development, process & workflow analysis, functional & system requirements definition, and software implementation. I have extensive background knowledge of Department of Defense projects and accomplished an enterprise agile transformation in a dynamic government contracting environment. I enjoy leading and training product owners and stakeholders in the scrum process by mapping business processes and translating those processes into system requirements and user stories.Transforming an organization by creating high-level release plans based on business value shows the management a better way to implement their projects with less cost and increased quality. Analyzing requirements with all stakeholders and creating user stories with acceptance criteria show the benefits of iteritive development and illustrates that prioritizing business value and outlining project roadmaps and sprint release plans can still provide a level of confidence for long term objectives, while maintaining focus on providing the highest business value.
