First ever agile project was a waterfall project that was going wrong in May 2002. I read Kent Beck's Extreme Programming Explained and instantly put it to use by coaching the team in the agile approach. Made lots of mistakes but delivered customer satisfaction just a few months later.

In the same year we used extreme programming and the same team to develop an externally facing web application in 10 weeks from inception to first delivery.

In May 2003 I co-developed a 3 day Extreme Programming class which we then took round various Intel sites in the UK, India and the US. I managed various small agile projects from then on.
